Mobile ARPG Inventory

Design Prompt

Design an inventory for a simple action RPG like Diablo or Path of Exile on mobile.

The player controls a single character who has hit points and mana. Hit points decrease from being hit and can only be restored by finding healing shrines in dungeons. Mana is spent to cast spells, and is recovered by finding magic shrines. Both are completely restored when returning to the hub. The character also has 2 stats: strength and magic. Strength increases physical damage and HP. Mana increases magical damage and mana.

Like many ARPG’s, the goal of the game is to collect loot to make your character stronger. There are 3 types of items in the game: gems, weapons, and spell books. Gems have no gameplay value but can be sold for gold at the hub. Weapons increase physical damage. While spell books can be equipped to learn new spells. Items come in 5 different quality levels, from best to worst: orange, purple, blue, green, and white. Players have 10 slots in their inventory, which includes equipping up to 1 weapon and 3 spell books.
